The first step to our drafting & design process is the consultation. This allows us the opportunity to meet and discuss your design and construction goals, as well as reviewing your budget, our cost, and most importantly, your timelines.

Next is preliminary design of the floor plans and layout; created based on our initial consultation discussions and any references provided. Throughout this step, we make updates and changes until your layout and functionality goals have been achieved, ensuring we meet building code requirements.

After the floor plans have been approved by you, we move to the design and development of the elevations to create the exterior design. Like in the preliminary design step, we make updates and changes until your exterior design goals have been achieved.

Then the final architectural drawings are completed. Your final drawing package will consist of floor plans, dimension plans, elevations, foundation plans, details/cross sections, contractor notes, and a site plan (if required). These will be used for permit application and construction.
